Cheap Mlm leads on the net

Question: There are masses of MLM schemes on the net. Is there any reason legally why one should not get involved? (I realise that there may be other reasons). Does one have to be selling a product, if so does the definition of product exclude mailing lists of cheap Mlm leads?

Answer: -They are an illegal lottery and there are criminal charges possible. They invariably involve making representations that the person joining will make a fortune in money - it is possible you could be sued for the money everyone below you in the chain has spent or, much worse, the amount you guaranteed they'd make. -Cheap MLM Leads World Wide Link: http://www.oppseekingleads.biz/31233 -Anything purchased by mail in the U.S. is REQUIRED BY LAW to be returnable within a specified period of time. (I believe it's 30 days but I'm not sure.) You run into complications since you have opened and used some of the product, but perhaps the law still applies here. If you have a problem with the company don't just chalk it up to experience; do the following: (1) Contact authorities like your state Attorney General (who should have a consumer-protection office) for help. (2) Contact consumer advocates at your local newspaper or TV station (if they have someone). (3) Contact the Chamber of Commerce or Better Business Bureau in your community and ask their help in contacting their counterpart in the community where the MLM company is based. (4) If you have an attorney who won't charge much for some over-the-phone advice, seek it.
